Terms of Service

General terms governing the use of JamBau Oy websites, software tools and integrations.

These Terms of Service govern the use of the JamBau Oy websites (www.jambau.biz and www.jambau.fi) as well as software services, automation tools and integrations developed or operated by JamBau Oy (including JamBau Gmail MCP), unless otherwise agreed in a separate written client agreement.

2. Scope of Service and Permitted Use

JamBau Oy provides software development, architecture and AI services along with related software products and API integrations.

  • Information on our websites is provided for general informational purposes regarding JamBau Oy services and products.
  • Software tools and integrations operated by JamBau Oy may only be used by JamBau Oy or expressly authorized clients and users for their intended purpose.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to connect any third-party accounts (such as Google Workspace / Gmail) that you use with the tool.

3. Google API Integrations and User Authorization

When you connect a Google Account to a JamBau Oy tool (such as JamBau Gmail MCP) via Google OAuth 2.0:

  • The tool only accesses the scopes explicitly granted by you (such as read-only access gmail.readonly for locating accounting receipts and invoices).
  • You may revoke access at any time from the tool or directly from your Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Details on how personal data and Google user data are handled are set out in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All website content, branding, designs and software tools belong to JamBau Oy or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Ownership and licensing of deliverables produced in client engagements are governed by the applicable written client contract.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

  • Unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement or service level agreement (SLA), our websites and tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
  • JamBau Oy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, interruptions or changes in third-party APIs (such as Google APIs or accounting platforms), or bookkeeping and business decisions made by the user.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through good-faith negotiations.
